Liberal Democrat MPs on the Parliamentary Bike Ride 2005

This morning, local MP, Andrew Stunell joined over 30 other MPs and Peers in cycling across London to work. In recognition of his work to promote cycling, Mr Stunell has also been appointed vice-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Cycling Group.

Hazel Grove MP, Andrew Stunell said:

"Cycling is a great way to keep active, is environmentally friendly and fun. I am delighted to be vice-chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group.

Mr Stunell urges:

"It is National Cycling Week, so why not keep fit and do your bit for the environment by dusting your bike down and cycling to work this week?"
