Stunell says, 'wear it pink'

October 19, 2006 1:31 PM

Hazel Grove MP, Andrew Stunell is joining forces with Breast Cancer Campaign in its award winning 'wear it pink' day on Friday 27 October as part of breast cancer awareness month.

Speaking ahead of 'wear it pink' day, Mr Stunell said:

"One woman out of every nine in Stockport will be diagnosed with breast cancer at some point in their lives.

"I am delighted to support Breast Cancer Campaign's ''wear it pink' day. It's great fun and simple. All you have to do is wear pink and donate £2 to the Charity.

"So, put Friday, 27 October in your diary and help raise vital funds for researching the cure for breast cancer."
